‘the air that i breathe is the same air that moves a cloud’ is a recollection of moments.
Following the red threat that ties it all together, in this book I explore, philosophize and retrace the steps, the moments that have shaped me and led me to where I am today. Forever growing, this book has become a hand to hold, a poetic documentation of a moment in time.
This story lives between a leporello cover - showing on both sides a horizon,
contains two foldout pages of inspiration
and has 57 pages of storytelling, photographs, poems and research references.
This work was my graduation thesis for the HKU Fine Art Bachelor.
For this work I was awarded with the Travis Geertruida Research Prize
I won this prize together with Siem de Boer, who was awarded
for his work 'The Last Sound Yet.'
